Furniture and Cabinetry

In 2001, Michael produced a few pieces of custom furniture. These
included a custom mantle installed in a Matthews home,a custom suite of home office furniture designed to be portable for a Weddington home, and a few pieces of studio furniture on speculation to be placed in a couple of our galleries. Custom furniture and cabinetry are available on an
exclusive, limited basis. Since Mountaineer Millworks is a small shop,
large-scale projects are not available. We specialize in built-in case pieces and knock-down furniture for the residential trade. The best time for
indicating interest in a piece from Mountaineer
Millworks is from January until April, although we do periodically have open times to accept new custom work throughout the year.
You've heard the expression "We don't do windows?" Well, we don't do chairs, or stools, and very rarely will we do a bench. Sorry-Michael is no bodger!
(A bodger is a chair-maker.)
For 2002, we anticipate producing a few more pieces of studio furniture for our galleries. Keep your eyes open, they go pretty fast!
